Introduction of One Day Ski or Snowboard Package

2018/2019 Ski Season has started! :)
In this post, you can see the daily schuedule (routine) of One Day Ski or Snowboard Package

1. Meeting in Seoul

This package includes round-trip transportation from Seoul to Vivaldi Park.
There are 2 bus stops in Seoul, one is in Hongik university station at 7:30am, and the other is in Euljiro 1-ga station (near Myeongdong) at 8am.

Our staff will be reminding you the bus stops a day or two prior to the tour date.

There are many customers waiting for the bus at the Myeongdong bus stop, so the buses park from the Airport limousine bus stop to the subway Euljiro-1ga station exit 8 which is about 100m.

We recommend you to look for our staff who is wearing a red jacket or a JSKI lanyard first.

The staff will be near the Euljiro-1ga station exit 8.

2. Meet JSKI staffs/instructors at the Vivaldi Park Bus Stop

**This is the most important part!
Customers from different companies will get off the bus HERE, so please find JSKI staffs wearing red jackets HERE!

There were many customers from different companies and customers who just went to the ski resort by themselves.
In this case, the customers might not able to receive the services on time.

3. Changing the clothes

We will rent the ski clothes at the rental shop.
The JSKI staffs will give you the coupons for rental, or bring you to go to clothes rental shop to get the clothes.

Before you get your clothes, please write your name on the list.
When you return your clothes, check your name and draw a line on your name.

4. Renting a gear

We will rent ski or snowboard gears at Group rental shop

The staff will give you a gear ticket and help you to get gears.
When you arrive at the rental shop, measure your feet size and write your size on the back side of the ticket.

5. Receive a LIFT TICKET

If you choose the option with "LIFT PASS", please don't forget to get a LIFT TICKET from the staff.

JSKI's TIP:

1) You can also take GONDOLA to the top of the mountain with this LIFT TICKET

**you CAN NOT use this lift ticket for Snowyland
2) If you return the lift ticket to ticket booth A, you can get back your 2,000KRW deposit!

6. Take a basic lesson

If you choose the options of the basic lesson, our staff will let you know the meeting point and the exact time for the lesson.

1) Morning class - 11:10am~12:10pm
The lesson will start directly after getting a ski or snowboard gear.

2) Afternoon class - 13:00 - 14:00pm
The staff or instructor will let you know the meeting point and the exact time.
You will have your free time before the lesson.

7. Go back to Seoul

It's time to go home!

Return your clothes and gears by 5pm and go to the bus stop.

You can take the return bus at the same place when you arrive at the resort.

The return bus departs at 5:30pm, so we recommend you to be here at 5:15pm.

Have you heard of "Snowy land?"
It is the most famous snow-sled attraction in Korea.

You can enjoy various kinds of snow-sleds

like tube-sled, Korean traditional sled, snow raft so on.

Everywhere in Snowyland is covered with white snow.

At night, Snowy land turns into the light walk-way with many candles.
You can't miss chance if you are in Vivaldi Park at night.

How to visit Vivaldi Park

You can book a shuttle bus & daily pass on Jski's official website with discounted price!
The original price of Snowyland is 40,000KRW, but you can buy the daily pass + shuttle bus for the only 32,000KRW on our website.
(Price is same if you purchase the ticket only)

Enjoy Fireworks at Vivaldi Park Ski Resort!

The advantage of Night Skiing

Many people thought that night skiing will be dangerous because of the low temperature and darkness.

However, the truth is different!

At night there are many lights lighted up at the ski resorts. Furthermore, there are fewer skiers compared to the skiers at noon, so you don't have to waste your time waiting for lifts.

This Korean family(father and 2 daughters) wants night skiing.
The ski lesson has proceeded for 2 hours from 7pm to 9pm.

Fireworks at Ski Resorts

One more advantage of night skiing is fireworks.
Every Saturday evening, this ski resort lights up fireworks!
(We will update the schedule of this season soon!)

Of course, you can enjoy the fireworks inside the resort, but it would be an unforgettable experience to watch fireworks at white ski slopes.

Go to Ski Resort with KTX(Korean Express Train) - Free Shuttle Bus Information from/to Jinbu Station To Yongpyong Resort

How To Go To Yongpyong Ski Resort by KTX (Korean Bullet Train)

From 2017, Yongpyong resort operates a free shuttle bus from Jinbu Train Station to/from Yongpyong Resort.

Now you can go to Yongpyong resort by train!
It takes only 100 minutes from Seoul Station to Jinbu Station(Nearest station from Yongpyong resort) and 15-20 minutes from Jinbu station to Yongpyong station.

1) Incheon Airport to Jinbu: 34,400KRW
2) Seoul Station to Jinbu: 22,000KRW
You can make a reservation for the train ticket at Korail website

Vivaldi Park's Restaurant - Food Court Menus | JSKI KOREA

Hello!

You may get hungry sooner than you thought after skiing.

In this post, we will introduce you to the most popular food court at VivaldiPark.

. It's only five minutes away from the ticket booth as well as it's a popular restaurant for instructors.

How to go to the food court in Vivaldi Park

This is the entrance of Food Court "FOOD MARKET"

1. Gong Cha

Gong Cha is a cafe tat sells milk teas and coffees.

2. 공수간 (Gong Su Gan)

Gongsugan is a Korean snack restaurant.

Most of the dishes are spicy, so people who don't eat spicy food need to be careful.

2. CHINESE TABLE

CHINESE TABLE serves Korean-style-Chinese food like Jjajang-myeon, Jjambbong, and Tangsuyuk

Jski members love the Tangsuyuk in this restaurant!

3. HARU AND SOKU

HARU and SOKU is a Japanese restaurant and it is one of the most popular restaurants in Vivaldi since they sell Pork Cutlet (돈까스) which most kids love!

3. BANES TACO

Banes Taco is a Mexican restaurant and their main menu is Taco and Fajita.

If you don't like coriander, you need to let the staff know in advance.

4. SALATHAI BISTRO

Salathai is a Thai restaurant.

The main menu is Pat Thai and rice noodles.

The peak hours in the food court is 11:30-14:00.
