Hello, This is JSKI.

For today, let me introduce the comparison of ski tour in Japan and Korea.




Many South-east Asian tourist take consideration which country to go to travel
for ski, and enjoying winter activities.

Therefore I am willing to compare the pros and cons of each Country.



Ski tour in Japan


The standard ski tour place in Japan is "Hokkaido", the North island of Japan.
It has some trait for appealing to tourist.



1. Beautiful nature


Quality of snow, and natural environment is absolutely beautiful.
You can feel as standing on the Alps. 
Snow is not artificial, but natural snow. 
This trait makes why Japanese slope is special.



2. Hot spring


Many people go to Hokkaido for enjoying hot springs.
Most of Hokkaido hotel have hot spring inside.
Therefore, you can enjoy the warm moment after the skiing.



However, Japanese Ski resort has some lacking traits also.



(1) Far and expensive


Japan is far from Asian continent.
That means it takes much money and time to arrive, staying there for trip.

And Hokkaido have less developed transportation system.
It's hard to move to resort, hard to back to airport.



(2) Snow, that's all


Hokkaido resort has great nature, but that is the all thing have.
There is no city life, hang-out place to enjoy except the Ski.

SKI TOUR in KOREA @ VIVALDI RESORT - How to get ready for ski lesson in Vivaldi Park ski resort

How to get ready for ski lesson in Vivaldi Park ski resort?



After arriving at the Vivaldi Park shuttle bus stop, you have to go to the main center where you can rent equipment, rent a ski suit, buy a lift ticket, etc.

Do you have to do all this alone?
No.
You don't need to this process by yourself.

Staff will be waiting for you in front of shuttle bus station before your bus arrive and when you take off the bus, he/she help you through the process from getting off the bus to skiing lessons and going back to Seoul.



The first stop is the shuttle bus parking lot. It is a place where all the shuttle buses provided by the Vivaldi Park resort gather and go out. If you took a shuttle bus, you will get off here, and you will leave here when you go back to Seoul.

On the day of skiing, guests can ski until 17:00 And than The shuttle bus arrives at the bus stop at 6:00. After skiing, guests have to return the equipment, take off the ski suit and return it, and find the luggage in the locker. It takes about 30 minutes. So, guests can take the bus to the bus stop at 5:45 am after completing the process. 
We also will guide the foreign guests from the shuttle bus to resort as concierge services.
As soon as a guest take off the bus in the morning, our staff informs the guest about the ski lesson and  instructor meeting time kindly. So you don't worry^^

The second pass is the customer waiting area.

Guests usually meet staff at scheduled times here and staff will guide guests to prepare for ski lessons and help to meet ski instructor.



Normally guests can sit here before 6 o'clock to get on the bus or sit down for a while to avoid the cold. even thought it is container, the interior is well heated, and always clean.
Also there are several electrical outlets, you can charge your phone.

following the staff, guests can book tickets at the ticket office, wear ski suits and ski equipment and get ski lesson.




Our ski instructor or staff will wait for you in front of shuttle bus station kindly, 
so you don't need to worry about getting lost in crowded ski resort.




It was also special memory for first ski lesson of this season :)
