Seoul has so long history as  capital of Korea that there are many places to sight see.


                                                            Gyeongbokgung Palace



It was in 1395, three years after the Joseon Dynasty was founded by King Taejo (Yi Seong-gye), when the construction of the main royal Palace was completed after the capital of the newly founded dynasty moved from Gaeseong to Seoul (then known as Hanyang). The Palace was named Gyeongbokgung Palace, the "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven." With Mount Bugaksan to its rear and Mount Namsan in the fore ground, the site of Gyeongbokgung Palace was at the heart of Seoul and, indeed, deemed auspicious according to the traditional practice of geomancy.
                                        
                                                                     Insa-dong

Insa-dong is very priceless place for Korea because it has many traditional things.
The streets are combined like puzzles and there are many stores in each streets. You can see lots of
traditional clothes, accessories, furnitures, ornaments, etc. It is the most popular place for foreigners
to buy souvenirs. Feeling tradtion in the middle of the city is such a gorgeous experience !


                                         Korea Traditional Village (Buckchon-Hanok)


Buckchon-Hanok village is the place you can see Korean traditinal house style. It is also in the midde of Seoul and near from other places to sightsee. There are 8 photo zones where you can get good pictures, so it is very famous place not only for foreigners but for local Korean. You can also see many high buildings in Seoul. If you want to experience special thing just Seoul has, you have to visit here !

2. Suburbs of Seoul



                                                                      Nami Island


Nami- Island located 63 km away from Seoul is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. Nami Island is not only known as filming spot of Winter Sonata, but also a culture center for creative ideas of local artists and employees. Nami Island is popular as a get-away for couples, friends and family from the bustling city.

                                                                   Apple Farm

A visit to the apple farm! Korean apples are known to be amazingly big, crisp and sweet! You will get to pick the apples yourself in the greenhouse and experience the farm life. You will be able to take home 1 kg worth of apples. Yum :)

                                                                 Petite France


Petite France is a small French village hidden in the suburbs of Gapyeong. Petite France is made up of museum, workshops, restaurant, cafe and a guesthouse. Petite France was featured on many dramas and variety shows, such as "Beethoven Virus", "Secret Garden", "Running Man" and most recently, "My Love from the Stars".

You may think that ski resorts are too far to go from Seoul because skiing needs snow and mountain.

However, there are many ski resorts near from Seoul and transportation services are also good to use for foreigners.
