If you are heading from Seoul, board the KTX from Cheonyangni Station in Seoul (subway line 1) to take the KTX to Jinbu Station. This takes roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. If heading to Alpensia from the airport, take the KTX from Incheon International Airport to Jinbu station. This will take approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. You can buy KTX tickets at the ticketing machines at each station.

There are machines that take international credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and more, so you can utilize these if needed.

Once you arrive at Jinbu station (also called Olympic Station because of the Pyeong Chang Winter Olympics), you can find the shuttle bus that goes to Alpensia.

There’s also a fantastic photo opportunity to take a snap with the Olympic mascots, so look in the front of the station for the white tiger and bear mascots! There will be a section with many buses waiting to leave Jinbu station, so look for the sign that says Jinbu station and Yongpyong on the side and front of the shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus leaves every hour and six times a day, so you can utilize the waiting stations or convenience stores at Jinbu station if your KTX arrived sooner. The first bus leaves at 9:30 AM, and the last bus leaves Jinbu station at 7:30 PM. The shuttle bus will take about another hour to arrive at Alpensia.

The bus will look like this with a sign that shows it drives from Yongpyong to Jinbu Station. You will have to show proof of your visit to Alpensia before boarding the shuttle bus. A mobile reservation ticket or a printed version of the ticket for Alpensia will work.
