Skiing in South Korea

When people come to South Korea to ski or snowboard, they're really impressed!  Everything is organized to make the experience as fun an convenient as possible.  From arriving in the country, to gliding down the slopes, to apre ski, all the elements are in place for a great winter trip.

Incheon International Airport is perennially recognized as among the top in the world.  Right from the airport, transportation awaits. Many people choose to go to Seoul and then take a limousine bus provided free by the ski resorts.  Particularly since South Korea was the site of the 2018 Winter Olympics, airport personnel, bus drivers, and train conductors are happy to assist international guests with their ski and snowboard equipment.

If you don't have your own equipment, everything you need will be ready for you to rent at the base area.  Your JSKI instructor will be there to help you get just the right equipment in the correct sizes for your time on the slopes.

2018 was not the first time South Korea hosted international winter sports events.  National teams and snow sports industry leaders converge on South Korea annually for World Cup competition, and there have been professional snow sports conferences such as Interski International.  South Korea has a well-earned reputation as the place for dependably excellent lifts, slopes, and snow grooming as well as amenities.

The amenities at the ski areas are so fun!  There is Korean and international cuisine from fast food to fine dining.  The Korean spas are great for a relaxing sauna after skiing. Vivaldi Resort even has an indoor-outdoor water park for you to enjoy.  There are arcades and amusement rides for people of all ages.

The night skiing and lighting of the landscaping make the resorts particularly enchanting at night.  You can ski or board, go for a stroll, try sliding down on the special tubing runs, or head back to the comfort of your hotel.

Come to South Korea, and you can count on having a wonderful winter holiday.  It has the right environment and the best and infrastructure and facilities to ensure your enjoyment. We at JSKI are looking forward to helping you get the very most out of your experience!

What JSKI Does to Ensure Safety

Skiing or snowboarding during the winter in Korea brings a lot of excitement, and our instructors make sure our lessons are both entertaining and educational. However, the fun cannot continue without safety. Safety is one of our top priorities at JSKI, and our team is trained to handle emergency situations.

Our instructors complete CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training to obtain the skills and information needed to assist adults and younger students. If a breathing or cardiac emergency occurs, the CPR training can make a tremendous difference because starting effective CPR within two minutes of cardiac arrest can increase the chance of survival by 200% to 300%.

JSKI’s instructors go through both adult CPR classes and pediatric CPR classes. If the student is under eight years
old, resuscitation techniques are not the same as those used for adults. The airway may need to be properly cleared. Additionally, the chest compression proportion for young children, toddlers, and infants are different from those used for adults.

Our instructors receive training from certified professionals, and the hands-on training helps JSKI better prepare for emergency situations in real life.

This training keeps instructors’ preparedness and safety awareness high. It’s an integral part of your comfort and security during your fun times with JSKI. We can provide you with professional snowsport instruction in English and guidance to help you make the most of your time both on the slopes and with other amenities at the resort. We will be there with you from pick-up to drop-off to make your experience as seamless and pleasant as possible. We want to help make your trip to Korea memorable. Feel free to contact us.
